The head is good but the body is not right. If I'm thinking correctly the pecs or chest muscles connect to the biceps in a way (sorta draw a line from pecs to biceps.) it doesnt seem right in your picture. |

Well, hope you don't mind the quick paint job. I saw this and decided to take a break and experiment (something I like to do too much). Sketched around trying to figure out how I'd fix the anatomy a little when I got an idea and kept going for another twenty minutes, heh. Anyway, the idea I had was to make this girl as some sorta mechanical faerie. I think you were going for more of a cyborg based on the message and the drawing, right? Well, if I went further with this I'd probably add some more contrast in the light and of course, finish off the rest of the body. So hope this helps.

Evil: I am horrible when it comes to spelling. Word perfect is my bestest friend.
Flint: It *IS* supposed to be a mechanical faerie. One that was once real. I like the color job.. thanks.. I was going to rip it up.. but my friend said I should post it and see what kind of responce I got. I burn a lot of my work, but thought I'd save this one.

ARGH, don't burn or tear your stuff up, nobody here should. My roommate from school was an excellent artist, lots of potential, but he always drew something and threw it away. I finally got a large corkboard to hang on the wall so he and I could post our stuff up there...he pretty much filled the board with sketches (oh...and there was Miss April...but let's forget I said that
I still have crappy drawings from the end of high school when I finally got back into drawing. I look back on them from time to time to allow myself to see how far I've come and to remind myself that I was a newbie once, too. Now I'm not suggesting that you save all your work but don't start something and then throw it away before you've learned something from it. My friend looked back and realized that he'd thrown so much stuff away, a lot of it quite finished, that he had literally nothing to show when it came time to do so.
Well, glad you liked the quickie paint job. Sorry about the mini-rant or whatever you wanna call it but I hate it when I see potential in things only to see it not realized.
