Actually "Augen" means "eyes" plural.

My favorite word would have to be...

schei�e....shit in german. just sounds great when the kids in school are yelling at the teacher cussing and the teacher yells back. very common =)

I guss the netherlands is the only place where its not uncommon for a teacher to adress a student with "fuckface" or similar terms...

Oh, an "interesting" finnish word:
"perkele".
It's basically an archaic name for the Devil, but man does it work when cursing. Finnish is just great for that, the r-sounds are quite sharp and rugged (if you can describe sound like that) and not soft like in English. Even if you don't understand the language, you just know when someone is cursing.
Oddly enough, "rakkaus" which is also quite sharp, means love.
So phonetics don't actually mean much.
