Just thought I'd let everyone here know we put up a special holiday teaser on of Myst3 on the Presto site. You can find it on this page.
http://www.presto.com/v4/games/m3/dec/screens.asp
It's a fly through of Jannanin, one of the ages in the game. I was lead on this age. Terrain and Water were created and texured by myself. The tower was modeled by Steve Kim. The posts and tusks were modeled by Casey Steffen. Bridges modeled by Jose Albinil. All man made structures as well as the tusks were textured by James Rochelle (Magpie). Design by Seth Fisher. Hope I didn't leave anyone out.
Hope everyone enjoys it. Oh, one last thing, it's an 11 meg download zipped QT movie.

Damn... bump.
Everyone should check this out. That water is sweet.
Hey anticz, what are you doing for your clouds? Is that an environment map, frozen volumetrics, or what? If it is volumetrics, they look self shaded. What plug-in is that?
I've been working on volumetric clouds for some time in 3DS. I've had some luck with Blur's Firestorm. I was just curious.
Thanks for the gift ![](http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/ubb/smile.gif) |
