Yes it looks ok. You might want to try rerendering it in bryce because the left side of the waters is way too bright. Anyway, it really depends on what effect you want to get where the arm and the water meet. I suggest taht you make the ripples more definite and perhaps a upward shot of water drops to show the arm bursting out. Also, a few water drops, seaweed etc on the sword and arm would give great effects. I remember there's a water drop effect/tutorial covered at 3dpalette.org which you can use that and put it on the guy/girls arm. |

I think this image would look way better with the addition of a little shark fin behind the guy with the sword, with a little ripple behind the fin showing its heading for him

Cybergod, looks good, I think you need some more white behind the arm, make the perspective better.

ok first of all, where the hand & the water meet looks wrong. water doesn't act like this. there should be a defined line where the hand is coming out of the water. if you want to see how water should ripple, look on the net for a picture of a raindrop hitting a pond or something like that. should be plenty of reference.
also, consider the lighting. water throws up funny little shadows and highlights onto objects. do a search for gecko's post of the jungle grotto picture, it had really nice water illumination. in this case, i'm not sure how the water would affect the illumination of the hand. maybe again a search for reference pictures could help you.
the way you draw the hand with all sorts of tiny wrinkles makes it look very old. if you're planning on painting this, try to use areas of color to show changes in the surface of the hand, rather than lots of tiny lines.
i don't know how this is going to look in the end, because bryce is so hyper-realistic, and line drawings are the opposite of that. i would not use bryce backgrounds for hand-painted work.
and last of all, stop bumping your thread up. once or twice is okay. seven times is annoying.
*slap*
