Im trying to get in a special class in school, basicly it's an art class, computer graphics, adobe, the whole deal. I want to show the teacher what I can do by showing him a piece of art. I want to do some futuristic robot city deal, but I would also do an olden barbarin piece. ... actually i would do anything that is not realistic. i really dont like the flowers and pretty women... it just doesnt appeal to me.

Anyway... enough rambling, just post some images for inspiration, thanks!

Use the "search" function of the forum. Anything by "SuPeR_DrAwEr" is always a great inspiration to me. Especially his earlier work.

this may seem obvious, but just peruse a bunch of artists' sites and work, and look in nat geo magazines and such. careful, though.. take a deep breath and try to channel ideas from the body of art you looked at, as a whole, lest thou find thyself copying what you looked at.

oh God, what did i start talking like that?

anyway, yeah. go outside, change your environment, look at magazines and read stories.

What?!
barbarians and Futuristic robot city deal?
Flowers and pretty women?!!
It's not about the motive. It's how you solve it. You can still do a pretty woman or flowers in a non-realistic way.

haha, this gotta be a joke !
Take away all good things about art and draw the biggest cliche's, yeah I really felt like showing my art teacher the good aspects of that as well when I was 12 years old or something. So strange that michelangelo, davinci or no other artist up to now never realised that THAT is true art

I just got my inspiration bible: The art of episode 1. Crickie! All the conceptual art looks better than the final product in the movie! with the obvious exception of darth maul, quigon, amidala, and uh... the bonga.

Even jar jar binx looked tolerable in conceptual form!

Get yourself a book, photography, fantasy, whatever you like that has lots of stuff that appeals to you, just soak up with influence like a sponge!

BTW....If you are asking for other artists to inspire you and don't have any Artists that DO inspire you...you have a ways to go.
