Some of you oooold guys (who may actually be young guys -- and girls too -- I'm referring to those who have been around the forum a while) may remember me. Most of you probably don't. So, hey, I'm reintroducing myself. I'm Brandon, I've been doing digital art for a few years, I mostly use Painter, I'm a member of iCE, my website is http://funhousedigital.com, and I'm looking for a GWM...uh...nevermind. I haven't posted in quite a while due to a lot of weird and bad shit all happening at once, leading to a sort of depression, leading to a not doing any art for a long time. And I didn't have access to a computer for a long time, too. Anyway, my life is sorta normal again, and since everyone has been posting self-portraits, I thought I'd do one. Damn, it's been a while -- this is harder than it used to be, and I'm not so sure about my quality level. Anyway, any comments are appreciated. Thanks.

Wow, you've got a very interesting face!

And a great piercing, too. I like the ones on the side of the nose much better than the ones in the wall between the nostrils (I really don't know the English words for it)

Very bold use of dark, gloomy colours here, and dramatic shadowing

Ahhhh, my arch nemesis! Welcome back to the list.

I don't really have anything to say about your painting. I like it. Moody and rough, wonderful. (It looks like your nose has a crook in it, is that true to life, or just wonky perspective?)

Tinusch: Yeah, I came across that thread the other day. I think I was just bitter. I actually kinda like NOFX. All their shitty, shitty clones can die, though.

English words: What I have pierced is the nostril, as opposed to the septum, which is in the middle. I agree, I don't like those much either.

Jamie: Yeah, my nose is a bit crooked. It's from getting jumped by skinheads about 4 years back.
