Just tried out version 6 of Painter for the first time. I'm using a G3 266Mhz MacIntosh... but whenever I use the water color brush for upsizing (hitting the [ ] keys), or use a medium sized brush and try to do fast storkes it LAGS!
Anyone else have this problem? Is it me or is it Painter... or is it Painter on the Mac? |

I have a dual G4 at work, and my dual PIII at home performs much better when using Painter... the G4 is better at Photoshop though!
I guess that Painter just is slower on a Mac.

Look out for updates, painter has always been a little temperamental!

Thanks guys for the responses! I love the program, but the lag pretty much kills it off. There is no way I can use it with that much lag... Can't believe that the metacreations guys lag this much. |
