I posted the markerdrawing before.
Now I made some action drawings of the assassin..." the assassin out on assignment" or whatever.

Cybergod: Please excuse me, but if I want to show my work in progress, Im going to do that, Im not the only one who does this, in this forum.Anyway Im glad you like what I do.
Kim
Demigodfromdisney: lol ,I dig your username well the full name of the character are "Cakarin G.A. Assassin" G.A. stands for Genetic Altered, the Cakarins are a race of human origin. The Assassins are a product of decades of Gene/cyborg cross experimenting.

Hi kimzoll, and thanks for comment my "Happy people dancing in the moonlight" http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/ubb/Forum2/HTML/007419.html
---
I really like the volume that you did in the cape of the first one with the markers. And the overall desing too, its really well shaded. The blue pencil drawings look promising too.
Do you use a col-erase pencil?
The only crit I have (more than a crit, its an observation) is that you seem to be really influenced by the art-dessigner from "Star-wars: episode I".
The pity is that I forgot his web-direction...
See ya. |

Hi sempere,
yeah, that was a great piece you had there, I used it as my wallpaper for a while, until I changed it with spoogedemons battlesceen, good company your in
Yep I allways make my actiondrawings with animationpencils.
Yeah, Doug Chiangs the masterblaster! Im heavely influenced by his marker technics, quick and very nice!
looking forward to seeing more of your art.
Regards,
Kim Zoll

kimzoll, I love your drawings. I've been checking out your posts recently and you do some really nifty stuff
My only crit about this character is that as an assassin, he/she doesn't quite look sneaky enough. The rounded edges almost make it look cute. ^_^
This is just a personal opinion more than anything; maybe you have something special planned for this character anyways. I just know that if it were me, I would make him much more sharp and edgy - to portray more of that wicked, sly assassin look

Hi Beth, you think hes cute.........
Hi Hi well I guess hes kinda cute lol
The first name I gave him was "Cakarin Combat assassin" so I guess you are right, he is not as Ninja or something like that, hes more rough soldier type, you know
I didnt want to make him to scary, cause the Cakarins are not an evil race, they are just a warrior society.
Sincerely,
Kim Zoll
PS. Im gonna post a Cakarin Combat Scout one of these days. |

hey hey, i love the stuff. nice robotics and the stront primary contour line is cool looking.
i might turn and drop the head of the assasin backed up against the wall. might give it a more dynamic pose for the model sheet...and what not. tells a but more, giving tension. perhaps. i can see how with his head up he is doing the whole antonio banderas waiting thing behind a wall....... but turning he head over, chin down, in anticipation of action might be nice. i like the design of the character. they will be nice to see fully rendered. you could probably even just contrast them out to get the more solid line out of the drawings without having to over work them and lose some of your intitial media flow...
ok. have fun. _x |

Great stuff, love the style. Do you do any 3D modeling? These would make great animated characters, a lot of personality in their form/design. I assume since you're making model sheets you're working on some sort of project with them all soon? 2d animation or something? Forgive me if you've already shared your plans with the group, I'm slow and I smell kind of funny.

napalm: yes, I done some low-poly stuff for a game we are creating at my firm, but it was more for learning the basics, Im actually a Classic Character Animator converting to 3D, but I love to model also and are going to spend some of my freetime on it. Its a world Im creating on my own, Its my passion to create worlds, could be nice to make a living out of it , but I like animating as much
Garuda_x: you are absolutely right, it would create more variation to the drawing and it at first my idea to make it that way, I just thought about it again and decided that it would look like he was waiting to get attacked and if he was looking straight ahead he would be in control of the situation, knowing excatly when his victim would round the corner, everything carefully planned out.
thanks for your attention guys
