This one was done in oils on masonite when I was in my Simon Bisley faze.
I know it has a lot of mistakes but you will find that my work is all about mood and less about perfection.
Of course perfection would be great but I'm still working on that. When I post my current work I hope it has less mistakes!

Nice man, if it were digital I'd say to add some lighteffects to it
Why don't you work it out digitally?
then you can make a good comparisation

.. Frankly, I'm not really getting a mood feel to this picture. Getting a few vibes that the guy's going off hunting sneaking around? But if you want to heighten the mood.. I suggest that you emply more shadows into your work. But anway, I really like it. Kind of has that silly looking devil on that ledge  |

I believe if you want to get more mood into your work (for not just yourself), you may have to improve the quality of your rendering of objects. You seem to have a strong understanding of anatomy, so work from there. I don't see much of the mood either but I find it to be an interesting and original picture. Nice work )
