(If you dont see the image or reload server maybe down.)
This is a new one I did just this night. I was trying to capture the same as the other one I did but with more of an ambient feeling. ...let me know what you think. |

Interesting image although I never saw the first one. You have an interesting juxtoposition with the liquid and smooth metal feeling on the left with a course, rough painted character on the right. The image just seems a little bit unfinished. The top section seems to have a fair amount of dead space without too much happening.
The 'hair' on the top of the head needs to have the colour fixed up. The black/grey looks flat and stands out and I think detracts from the image. What is that in the middle of the image that is above the liquid section. It is really difficult to make out but looks interesting. You might like to try and make this section of the image a little bit noticeable

"MattElder":Thats because it is
space...those are stars she is drifting
through. She is a Jester with a silk hat
on...the "hair" as you said is the black
part of the hat she is wearing"
"I'm":as usual maybe art isnt for you.
"A.Buttle": There is no eyecandy...its
called filters...and eyecandy if used
properly can look fine. It's how well
the artist uses eyecandy without makeing
it obvious. Unfortunately you seem to think
filters are the same as eyecandy and
not able to see beyond, to look at the
artwork as a whole...not how it was made.
"Dives": Thanks...nice to see you like it..
by the way all my art is weird...its the way
I like it...if its to blah its boring...
Noone should take offense to what I have
said just clearing things up and all ...I
thank all of you that respond. Keep letting
me know what you think...

I think you should try to paint over the hair, because it doesn't really fit, the lady is painted and the hair is too crisp, but a good effect. So try to duplicate the effect by painting it on, then you can work out the kinks of plug-in. Just my opinion.

I think you spilled some motor oil on your picture?... hehe... I dunno I like what you did with the girl, I'm not sure about that "eye candy" thing on the left... something about it just isn't right... it bothers me, other than that, I think it's a great start
