I can choose one book from Amazon as a Christmas gift. Do you have any suggestions as what would be the best choice?

Just one book from Amazon. Did a quick search and I found a good deal for you. It's used, but it is one of, if not the best figure drawing books. This is a pretty good price too.
Andrew Loomis - Figure Drawing For All Its Worth
