I sketched a warrior yesterday and thought i put it up here and let you give me some advices...
I also did a super fast coloring of it....
the warrior is supose to be in a snow field walking to a village in the top left...
Thinking of having the village on fire and some flashes over it.... Maybe some dark clouds only over the village to.... Like a warlock has cast a spell over it or something....
well... gime me some advices...

It's just that i wanted to know if the for example arm was right length.....
or the length of his sword seems to be right or has the right angle....
stuffs like that
It's good to know befor you finish the pic, so you don't have to redo it...

Hey see.. you know whats wrong with it..
yeah make the arm longer. stand up right now and look how long your arm is and compare . he could bearly touch his butt.
hehe
also.. you might want to check if his sholders are too far apart. is he wearing alot of gear his armor? should he have another spike on his right sholder? where is his right leg? hehe
also you might want to shorten his cape up a little bit. he might trip while fighting. =[

He is walking so you can't see his right leg because of the cape....
Thanks for the advice theresa.
Will shorter the cape and make his arm longer.
Is his shoulders too far apart?
I don't know..... To me it's look pretty good, but maybe i can shorter them a little.

right side of the shoulder is wider than the left side. The shoulders are typically two heads wide. (from one shoulder blade to the other.) If you want him to look a bit muscular, make it 2.5 |

Hey Hightop, you really need to work on this one some more, but i get the idea behind it
im not going to go all mathematical on your ass like the guy above me- although he is right
but i'll say you need to work in some kind of background, or at least some details in one or more areas...then again you might just be portaying a Concept like i did
take a look at my CONCEPTUAL IMAGE -intheworks its under the heading 'sleek hair woman'
please feel free to induce mathematical lyricsm at my work

Try drawing a skeleton in the pose you want, then redraw on top (tracing paper is good) with the naked form, then re draw again with the costume. It's hard to make up stuff with a cloak over top of everything....
Dont be afraid to redo - you have to be ready to trash something and start again or you will not get better. |
