I decided to completley start over on this one .. last time I screwed up the lines, this time I think I screwed up the shading even more than before. Any thoughts?

Got some basic problems with the anatomy... the head is a bit lopsized. Make sure you're drawing on a surface that's perpendicular to your eyes... my doodles sometimes get lopsided like that when I draw on a flat surface with my head away back from the table.
Remember to assemble your figure from primitive shapes. Here's a little sketch to get you in the right direction.

stick to L.Ariochs advice - you avoid most mistakes by sketching and losing some thoughts of anatomical "habits".
Also positioning and the whole comp can change in a sketch phase...
remembering your title I think her pose doesn't fit - she looks shy (that comment only counts if title isn't meant ironicly ) |
