Our game group has recently published a new game named Ata. I've made all graphics to it, so if you're interested, go get it from our website. Here's a screenshot of it.

It looks suspiciously a lot like the old classic game called "North and South", which was based on a comic.

Actually it's remake of North and South. The game is freeware and full name is "Ata - Extracts from the American Civil War".

Btw. I didn't know that North and South was based on a comic.

As a blatant comic reader I am, I got and read the most comics made in Europe. So I gotta know these things.

Made in France too (which is strange why french men want to portray the am. civil war). I've got "LES BLUES DE LA MARINE" by Cauvin and Lambil from Dupuis publishing. The artwork from the comic and the game is similar.

I was going to dl this game, cause it looks like a little sweet piece of work. But when I found out it lacks sound and never will have it, I decided not to..

I know I can't complain about freeware, so this isn't a complaint, it's just a lament that something that could be very cool, won't realize its full potential.

Spike.com: Do you have any idea where can I buy or find these comics?

Digital Genesis: We have decided to put sounds in the next version.
