Haven't been able to finish anything in a while, and I think this one might need a little more work. But it's mostly done if not completely, and it's too late to do any more on it tonight.
I thought it looked a little sparse on the right side. Ideas anyone?
So enjoy, pick it apart if you like, but be kind Thanks.

I like it. But the body of the front horse looks a bit odd. I think you need to add a bit more white areas where the light hits to better define the form and muscles. But anyways I like it... And if the stuff that's coming up is dust.. why is that the only area that has it? There should be a bit of dust behind the horses and a bit on the fromnt legs as they kick forward... I think. But i really like the mood to this picture. Btw, the light should be a bit more goldish on the horses.
[btw, the right side looks fine... you might want to cut off a bit of the bottom of the cloud and perhapsshow another hill with ihlloutes of otehr horses.]

Nice man, i liek the mood too. Try and add a highlight on the horses back though, it would help a lot. and make the horses right um leg muscles a little smaller, its out of proportion.

Whoa!
You're getting way too few replies for such quality work. The bright (and good-looking!) sky really brings out the silhouettes, and the composition makes it wallpaper material. If this was not your intention, you should consider cropping some of the sky area on the top and right side away to better concentrate on the horses. Besides that, I wouldn't touch it much. Well captured movement, and the sky, if it was any darker near the ground, would almost look like dust raised by the horses running.
First of all, I disagree with the horses' legs being out of proportion. The only thing that I'm not quite sure about is the length of their backs, but for all I know they might be correct as well.
Lovely!

that looks really neat, periadam!! i especially like the way you made the horses look like they were in motion r something, it looks super surreal and gives me a peaceful feeling.
i get how you could think of it as sparse, but i guess not everything has to be loaded with things to look at, i think you did a very good job at completing this work of art!

Gecko is right.. not enough replies.
This is a really great picture. I love the colors. The dust being kicked up the kinda stands out, but its no biggie. As far as balancing out the right side... I think it would be neat if there was a little hint of a mountain range over there. Most excellent work dude! |
