Hey! I am working on a Van Gough remake. It is of the painting starry night, so far i love how its turning out but i have one problem with photo shop.
If i try and color with blue it shows red, when i paint with yellow it comes out red! when i choose ANY color it comes out red. And then when i make it so i cant see any of the layers you can still see the red. And it isnt on any layer! Plz help because i really want to finish this one. Even Isric likes it! |

there might be something wrong with the channels. RGB, Red, Green, Blue... did you adjust one of them?

Hehe poor guy. Maybe your just turning old and your vision is getting red and blocky. The problem is your painting in quick mask mode. Just hit the Q on your keyboard and it should be ok. If it still doesnt work, click the quick mask button which is right under the two color selections. (the foreground and background color display on the left menu) |

Hehehehe and Van Gogh gradualy lost his sight for yellow due to medicine he was prescribed for years..
Well it's a theory but that's what they teach in history of art courses.. Aslo to explain his 'Yellow' Period. -He was adding more pigment of this color to compensate-
Oh and btw. I think this has been asked before on the forum but anyway:

Man, that sucks. Red/green deficiency seems to affect a lot of men. I don't know what I'd do if I was struck blind. Probably take up sculpture. |

I solved it. The 'color' was clicked on for the brush options. The harder we pushed, the more whacked out it got. All better now, thanks. |
