Hey everyone, I just got finished texturing and I want to know what everyone thinks. It's not supposed to look 'realistic', but tell me what you think or what I should/could change to make it better.
Thanks

looks good, i like the hair except at the top it's a bit too blocky, also the eyelashes look a little fake try thinning them out or something, other than that it looks pretty good |

Looks great. I'm just starting to get back into 3D myself.
You may want to look at the area around the nostrils a little bit closer. They should set off of the face a little bit more, right now they look as if they are molded into it.
The area around the lips and nose needs some more attention too. Other than that I think it's fine
Did you use transparency maps for the hair strands? If so, incorporate that same technique into the eye lashes.
I'm not sure what program your working in, but I'm sure it supports specular mapping. Maybe add specular map for the face. The face has certain "shiny" parts to it. The spec. map will keep the face from looking like it's made of rubber. Be careful though, too much specularity and it will look like plastic
You may also want to add a very slight red hue to the end of the nose or the nostrils. This will help pop it out more. I maybe getting too technical, and you did say you wasn't going for a realistic look. But I think those elements could help it out more without making it too realistic. Oh one more thing..hehe sorry..maybe a slight bump map on the clear part of the eye, this will make it look wetter and break up the hotspots on the eye that makes it look like glass.
Sorry If I'm being too critical, I know how hard it is to make a human face in 3D, and I think you did a great job at it.
Are you going to animate this? Or construct a body for it? I would love to see it.
