Hey there forum,

With all of the talk about off-topic posts and spam in the forums I wanted to make sure I wasn't one of the ones 'crippling' the forums.

Do my posts concerning my contests and such belong in the random musings section? I post them in this forum because I think they are digital art related but in reading through the recent posts I am not so sure anymore. I always thought that random musings was used to discuss what happened on TV last night and other such topics.

I just want to make sure I am doing the right thing and not hurting the forums. I do not post artwork here because I am not much of an artist... but I do read almost all of the posts and when something comes up concerning the contests and such I like to let you guys know (some of our best entries have come from this forum.)

Anyways.... sorry if this thread itself is a waste of space but I would appreciate any opinions or guidance you may offer as to where I should continue posting my news.

Eric

PS: I know some of you dabble in Flash so if you're interested we just posted two reviews of Swift 3D by Electric Rain:

I'm not aware of your other posts and what they exactly were about, but from what you say here, to me personally, that seems ok. Its digital art related so i don't see why it wouldnt be here. I think the complaint comes in for the more spam type posts that people write that is often repeated if no one says anything the first time.

Dhabih,

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I do try to stay on topic but due to recent posts I just wanted to be sure. Here is an example of what I post:

I do try to answer all replies to my posts so its not like I post and run.

Thanks again,

Eric

I know a few of the forum members have participated in your contest, so I don't think anybody has a real problem. Now if you were like showing pics of a wet T-shirt contest that would be a little uncalled for. (send me an email though if you do)

Chapel,

Thanks :-) Hey, maybe we could have a digital babe/hunk wet T-shirt competition?
