I did this for a contest that I entered in, I didn't get the results yet, but I think I have a good chance.
Started with this:
They said be creative, that's it. Nothing in particular.

DigitalJohn- That's pretty much all cut & paste from photo's isn't it. 
I liked your coloring quite a bit, but I'm not so cool with cut & paste jobs.
Or, was that the intent of the contest? |

Thanks for the replys.
Rob:I did really know what I could do with the image, pretty much like you said, but it wasn't that easy. I had to re-draw the hill/trees, the trees I made in vector.
Rinaldo:I had snow on the tops of the buildings in previous versions, but by the way the sun is, and the amount of snow below I figured that the buildings didn't need snow.
