Okay... here we go, my first posted piece. It was done in Photoshop, approximately 6 hours work. Be nice now...
Thanks!

Hey that is pretty cool and I really like the whole atmosphere you've captured with the mist/fog. Few things. In the 'real' shot you can hardly make out the sun but in the reflection it is very clear which I don't really find believeable. With the relection of the really tall tree, something about this really bothers me. I think it is because the trunk is too well defined in relation to the rest of the leaves/tree. Also the reflection, from the top of the tree down the left hand side (of the screen), the foilage isn't the same as the actual real tree. OK it won't be the same but in this case it is noticably different.
Again a great image and keep it up.

Don't mean to be a pest, but it would have been nice if you mentioned that you used the reference from Adobe Photoshop's sample files.
In fact, it looks exactly the same.
*gasp!
Let's FLAME!
BTW, the pic info in the sample folder says Copyright Adobe Corporation 1998.
Adobe\Photoshop 5.0\Goodies\Sample\Wilderness.psd
Remove the top three layers. Resize to 1000 pixel width! Voila!

Uhhhh.. I thought it was pretty obvious that this was a joke, being a Photoshop reference file. Apparently I was wrong :P
Anyway, "RobT", you sound so tough... I fear you, really I do. |

Yeesh guys.. lighten up. These forums have proved to be incredibly enlightening and useful for me, but I've also had quite a few laughs due the forums' wide variety of personalities. Not everything has to be a bone-dry, serious, in-depth conversation about what makes an artist an artist... laught once in a while, it'll do you some good. |

I happen to believe that I have a great sense of humor.. odd at times, but still present. But your post.. it's just not funny. Where's the punch line? I'm sorry.. this is just a waste of a thread. Maybe this is just your excuse for getting caught in the act. Either way, I'll be thinking twice before opening threads with your name on them, you chunky pumpkin head. I should stab your face off with the arm of my chair you muffin ass bastard. |

Not trying to sound tough. Like I said if it was not a joke and you were trying to pass it off as your own work then you would be a dipshit.

hmmm, well i guess it musta been a joke, although to be honest it didn't really do that
much for me either.. If you are going ot try pull a fast one I don't think anyone would
use an adobe reference file an expect to get away with it.. Unless you really do have shit
for brains.
Intuos I remember you saying on a previous thread that you work for the industry
and we would most likely recognise your work when you decide to show yourself..
maybe it would be a good time to post something original, I'm kinda curious myself.
