Light and shade study. I used a picture by Burne Hogarth as reference. What do you think?
Here is the ref. I know it doesnt look like the same person. But what I wanted to do in the first place was to learn where to put the shadows and highligts.

| Think you did your study very nicely. The face looks great... and well the rest of it. hehe i can see you didn't have much time. Anyway, might be great if you posted reference pic.. from this point it looks great |

Well as a study you did a good job - but if you were trying to learn where highlites / shadows should go, why start with a reference where someone else has done this figuring out for you?
Repeat the exercise, but this time start with a regualr photo, and simplify to 2 colours, working out the areas for yourself.
