Light and shade study. I used a picture by Burne Hogarth as reference. What do you think?
Here is the ref. I know it doesnt look like the same person. But what I wanted to do in the first place was to learn where to put the shadows and highligts.

Think you did your study very nicely. The face looks great... and well the rest of it. hehe i can see you didn't have much time. Anyway, might be great if you posted reference pic.. from this point it looks great |

Well as a study you did a good job - but if you were trying to learn where highlites / shadows should go, why start with a reference where someone else has done this figuring out for you?
Repeat the exercise, but this time start with a regualr photo, and simplify to 2 colours, working out the areas for yourself.
