hello fellow Torontonian (oh dear that sounded lame). I have the normal cheap WACOM tablet, which you can buy at Computer City. They also sell the smallest size of the normal brand, and I'm not "sure" about the larger ones. But those two sizes I said I'm sure of.

I live in Ottawa. And you know how cool Ottawa is. I have a 12X12 intuos and got it by talking with the manager of one of the local PC hardware stores. It was ordered for me, only took a day or two. Just find a store half competent and I am sure they will help you out. Don't settle for what they have on hand, order exactly what you want. Stores are in the buisness of selling so they will get what you ask for.

Thanks for all the help, but still need to know two things.

Special Edition or regular?
USB or serial?

Thanks for the help.

*paddle*

now that that's done with, try onvia.com. i ordered some wacom accessories and they have a well-stocked warehouse right in toronto. showed up at my door the next day.

and a general message to anyone else with the same question but different geography - phone wacom. they have a list of suppliers by region. best to go to the source.

Thanks for the comment, actually Onvia is the first place I went to because of the nice low price but then came upon this page
http://www.onvia.com/pricescan/products/index.cfm?Task=ViewProduct&SearchText=wacom%2520intuos&IdCatalog=2431405

I guess if you are in toronto then that's great. But who should I listen to? read the bad comments they posted.

Again USB or SERIAL?
