I finally got around to converting my Quake3 player models into viewpoint format so I can show them off in 3D. I haven't seen anyone else using this format on these boards so maybe you'd all like to take a look, it's a great way to display 3D work.

That is actually a stroke of genious!
Why not post how one goes about to do it. Write a online tutorial. Maybe there is a reason why not so many does it...dont know how.

They're created in 3D Studio Max, with textures done in Photoshop. I export the model as an .ase scene and import that into the Viewpoint Scene Builder. You can also import models from Lightwave. All the tools are on the Viewpoint website.
