His swords looks too dull, dark, and plain. Polish that baby up.

Looks good Skeez, it'll be good to see it a little more worked.
I'm sure you'd be aware, but I'll say anway, the hilts a little off with the sword.

I think everyone is missing the point of the sword...it's in a scabbard. Therefore shouldn't be shiny and can be slightly angled.

hehe, Thank you Impus.

It could use a little more work though. I would like to define it more, but the detail is so loose, I'm not sure where to start. hehe. Oh, well.

Well Impus, That should give you a clue that you might need to make it look like a scabbard instead of a blade made of stone
Not trying to be rude. You DID ask for critique

When did you do that?!!!!!

Dude I leave you alone for like, half a day and you pull this out your a$$.

I am just sick and tiered of being impressed by your scrawny a$$.

Hey..wasnt he part of that story we were working on? Any hoo

Man oh man
Well if you are looking for a place to start, I would suggest the hair. Maybe one of the dreads could be falling down over his cheek. I duno.

You could also show more depth in the snow flakes. I think. You do have small ones and big ones but they are all the same bluryness. If you know what I mean.

Well...Austa la taco Skeez

Here's my latest pic, and the reference.

Please critique the color, I'm still working on it, it will be finished soon though.

Here's another one that I just finished.

I was going for a painterly style, something like oil, but not quite. hehe.

thanks guys.

I like the second one, it looks more alive and the skin tone is somehow more appealing to me. Did you use reference on the second?

great work

Why isn't anybody posting? Are these too boring or does nobody know this is an ongoing portfolio?

Well anyways, here's another boring pic.
It's not finished, but if anybody has any advice for how to light it more accurately

Spooge, or Flickstone. hehe.

here it is................

Pleeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaseeee comment or critique, I don't care if you hate it or love it, just say so. hehe.

Thanks

Looks nice Skeez. If I would do anything with the lighting, it would be to make it more harsh. take the primary white light and dim it WAYYY down, then enhance the glow of the evil looking liquid in the background.

Its an enclosed environment right? so some harsh lighting wouldnt be be too out of place.

Other then that I would say smooth over some of your tones, mainly on the legs, as right now they look pretty sharp (painful sharp, not aware sharp). If I had a tablet here at home I would make a quick fuzz version as an example...

The red head's ear is a bit weird. But i love the shadow and lighting. And on the purple girl, it would be alot easier if you gave her the original shirt. It would work with her environment and then you wouldnt have to make up the lighting of her skin tones nad such. I also think her face needs to be a bit more slanted. I think thats all i have to say right now.
Bye

I duno Skeez.... If I were you I would run a search for "Talent" and "Skills"...you seem to be missing yours.
hehe

Just play'n with ya man.

Look'n good as usual.

Maby you could tone down the blue on her lipstick. just a bit darker would do. I find it distracting.... but that is just me. I am probably just high and don't know it.

see yas

hi skeezer

love the face you posted before
looks awesome to me

you latest pic:
I don't like the colors and the background looks like you just scetched
around with nothing special in mind
-it don't blends with the girl

I like the pose of the girl much

sorry couldn't give any constructive criticism
-but you asked for any comments.....

btw. I think your idea with one thread was good but people don't look in threads they already visited

Skeezer- You're really kicking out some quality artwork! I would say that your first one looks very good but I would define the sword a little more, either in a scabbard or through a leather holder and in the open. But otherwise looks real nice.

Your second one looks nice as well. I think there is a little issue with the teeth maybe a little long or the curvature of the mouth, or just me and the hour. I like the colors and how its coming together though.

The third one is coming along extremely well. I think I like it best. You have good tones in the face and nice contrast that is reallybringing her to the front. I agree with the earlier post the ear does seem a bit off.

Your last pic looks nice and I like the colors that you are going with. Tell me is this from a reference as well? Well, that's all I have. Keep in mind that I am no Spooge or Fred and hey, I'm still trying to come to grips with this digital media anyway so take it for what it's worth.

Later
-Phil

I'd like to see a lot more reflected light coming up from the snow, lighting the warrior from underneath.

Nice faces, you should check the ear of the redhead, looks funny.

heheheheh

Seriously though, are you taking any art classes right now? You are really good.
You use a tablet right? Which one?

I personally like that watergirl pic a lot, the wet suit looks better in the second version.
