"I'm sorry the doctors were unable to save your right arm....or the left, or your legs, hips and torso......errr........but you're alive! Alive! With many, many years ahead of you! Isn't that wonderful honey?!"

Any tips on making this thing a little more 3d? A tad bit more real? Oh and I do beg forgiveness for the mess with dodge and burn.....er...I won't do that anymore.

Hey cool art
to get it more 3d i think u have to give some parts of the picture sharper edges.
Keep up the good work!

Thanks AdezJ! I'd like to be one of those people that says......."Oh, this is something I just whipped up in the last 40 minutes or so". But the truth is, I really have to work to get even this (VERY FAIR) result. It's wonderful to hear something positive back. I will try and sharpen things up some.

I like some of the things that you have goin' on in this image. The background is cool too. The thing that struck me as a little 'unfinished' was the top left hand side of the characters head. It just seems to gooey and looks like it is about to slide of its head. What I'd recommend is working some of those thin black lines into the image a little more as they just seem a little too 'cartoony' at the moment.

As much as I like the spine, how are the vertebre being held together as at the moment they appear to be floating.

Thanks Matt! You know I think I pulled a total blank on that spine after I first sketched it down. Really should go back and finish that off. Maybe it's a magic spine?
