Seth1,
You should post a couple of pictures of
what's outside your workspace.
You live about 90 miles from me, straight
up highway 97.
You're in the Okanagan Valley so I know
you live in a really nice area.
--------------------------
No inside yet, but here's the outside.

So if i get another montor i can just hook it up or do i need some kind of card? or dual connector? Thanks in advance... |
most mid range ATI/Nvidia cards have a dual output now so you can connect 2 monitors
Matrox and 3Dlabs have been doing it for sometime now they both give excellent performance with dual RAM DAC's but 3Dlabs are geared more toward professional 3D market than Matrox and as such cost that much more than Matrox..
if you only have 1 output from your card you can purchase a PCI card for next to nothing on ebay (i have a Rage 8Mb PCI to run my 3rd screen 1024x768@25bit, 8 from ebay) 1 thing to remember is that if you have a decent card as your primary and you play games with it, don't go for an over the top 2nd card ie. PCI Radeon/Geforce with 32MB , as this is total overkill for what you're going to use it for, 8MB is all you need to run 1600x1200@32Bit and also remember that ATI and Nvidia don't play well together, and Matrox is very fussy with what its goes with generally nothing but another Matrox, i bought a Millenium b4 i went to the Rage and i had nothing but headaches with it.. |

Here is why I haven't been here for a while. I couldn't resist showing off a sneak preview of our new office/studio. This used to be our garage. Now if I can only get the freakin' electricians and carpet guys to finish... If anyone's interested that's the Minnesota river in our backyard.

Shizo, hey man you didn't tell us you were living in my old dorm room.
Looks like they've painted and changed the mattresses since then though.
I still have dreams about that place!!! |

Cute remark...
If you've ever painted on a really large canvas with
big brushes and could afford lot's of paint, or, just
painted with lots of energy, that what it is...
you paint BIG and slap the paint on.
You know, like Willem DeKooning. |

I know you're all sitting around saying "Golly gee, when is Spunkmeyer going to show pix of his new office/studio". We're still moving stuff and organizing, but I'm hyped-I've wanted to do this for a long time.
