I don't play Paragon.
It's amazing how many old Sijuners are now in game development. It's been one of the coolest things to see. _________________ Art Links Archive -- Artists and Tutorials |

Meanwhile, the fewer people outside, the more time for coffee and donuts - I guess. So
here's our exercise program, 2017 (assuming the last corded mouse on earth survives...):

Flow-on from previous models - jumpstarted by International Women's Day (we should
have a thread?).
Octagons only, no exploded curves - except the sneakers, bah. Background ('steampunk
set', upthread) steals the show but oh well...

Meanwhile: Blender 2.78c!
Okay, that's enough fanfare. Same old UI (sigh). Did some digging; from way back in
2013:

Geo porn...
10k black square...
More geo porn:
Down To the Earth's Core

And a new login notice (dropdown; never seen it before): 'this connection is not secure
and could be compromised' - or something like that - plus a "learn more" live link...
So if it starts raining porn - it's not really me.

Almost forgot:

Background still steals the show but can remove detail (delete some components)...
I thought adding a second terrain component (different colour) would cause lag - nope.
So that's it: unlimited terrain (using a single, small mesh: 10k triangles) + props +
character + story.
More about the terrain stuff/method here:

My solution to the usual dilemma - and accessible to almost anyone [cough].
Been a long road (I say again; of mostly fumbles, heh)... Thanks to samhell, Sumaleth,
Tzan and uh, whom.
This is actually a post-ending (aka a beginning), stand by...

Just saw the same drop-down at another site. Guess everyone's being more up front
about sign-in issues...

Interesting. Any idea how many?
Edit: I barely survived the Aurora toolset, lol (making a few modules)... |

Nice!
Been doing some painting lately, concepts for a commission. Think we need a slow-like-
molasses painting thread, lol, they're definitely not speedies... |

It really *does* give a sense of how big an earth-size planet really is (that method) - or
even just a moon - ie. you're 'painting' in 10/100/1000km swathes...

How two parts of a group get split between two layers, I do not know - but it's a tad
spooky (must be a full moon or something...)
