Ditto. Smile

Edit: In the 'explore the space' category (cough), some doodles inspired by
samhell's nebula (previous page), ie. how to design star clusters etc. quickly...

Space can get addictive and I'm laughing at the minimalistic storytelling of the 2 images. Smile

This is a recent overpaint/render test. I'm getting increasingly weirded out by the strong anime look/vibe the finished images have.

Fresh download and look, Dyntopo (left side bar). Start with a cube or whatever you like,
click into sculpt mode and go to town. Uh, not saying nuthin' else... Smile

Screen capture (Ctrl F3) again giving blank .pngs so manual capture - and hey, why not post.

Steep learning curve and looks like I get to keep this one, number four (first one lost to a
symmetry bug, and etc.)...

Know enough to tackle ears now (got the hang of it)...

Thanks. Smile Addictive, yes - and I'm not done yet; getting some interesting stuff happening
in Inkscape (where u can blur vector objects) - and which now has, btw, highly improved
inking options (see "mass"), to the point where the lines look overly smooth and crisp
(there's also a "wiggle" option to soften some of that artifical look, I guess)...

samhell wrote:
The point is make it worth the effort to create the models in the first
place and also to build narratives with a set of paintings. That's a concept
I've been thinking about a lot lately.

Borrowed your idea, yessir. And I agree, stories don't have to be really long or whatever
to be worthwhile... Smile

durgldeep, You should 3D print the shit out of those and finish them with miniature paints!

I've been crazy busy with work lately, but I will contribute to the thread again soon. Hopefully.

Hehe. Am really liking that 'mini effect', indeed (did one and had to keep going). Glad
someone else noticed. Smile

Actually it's a small [eyebrow] 'communication' project for... someone who shall not
be named. We'll see how it goes (if I even finish...). Smile

I thought pun? [eyebrow] Smile

Edit: No reference. Tried a proper soccer pitch but that kinda killed it. So done for now
(its original purpose). Otherwise, think I'll go a little farther...

Er, Sketchup 8. Found an old installer; before the barbed wire and dogs... Razz

agreed 2.76 is better still, I went back. There's chatter about removing the game engine, could be good I guess. I was making a game in the engine but only met with restrictions. Blender community is making weird decisions sometimes though. Just like Microsoft does, Minisoft!! Shocked

Yep, updated drivers - and rolled back; k we're done. Smile

Let's use Windows Struggle-Time(TM) for something else...
