here's a pic i finished about 10 min ago. took about 45 min to complete. any help would be great (i know there's tons of flaws in it)

Whoa, nice! Awesome colors and freaky lighting. That guy almost looks 3D. Nice job.
The tree looks kinda skimpy though. It just needs a little lovin'. |

Night Stalker... I fondly remember a game by that name on Intelevision back in the early 80's... ahh. Oh right, the painting... =)
It looks very nice, although lacks a bit of details as it's perhaps a bit too simplistic and unnatural as there should be rocks, bushes, different types and lengths of grass, trees in the surroundings, etc.
The back light has a very nice effect, and the volumetric fog shade adds a lot. The moon however seems added and out of place, since there is no lighting in the scene (aside from the tree shadow on the ground) to reflect this lightsource and therefore is no need for it IMO... and you should never crop through an important object such as this (by the image frame) in an image design which affects the lighting in the rest of the scene. Either put it fully at a good location or remove it altogether
Hmm, those were my pointers and suggestions. Are you planning on working on it some more? |

shaded- i'm sorry to say, i don't live in toronto anymore (god i wish i was still living there!). i moved to london just 2 months ago. which part or toronto r u at? |
