Hi!
I know that webdesign may not interest most of people here but I need some comments
If someone wants to critique it would be great
thanks

looks good, the technical aspect of it is well done, you organized the content well and the graphics should all load relatively fast.. page is ballanced pretty well, and I'm assuming that the sole purpose is to describe the different cd covers in the *menu*?. If thats the case then I wont mention the need for a traditional menu to help navigate to other pages...

anyway, looks good, I like it.

The design is fine, I just think that the copy you have written is not written too well. Minor gripe.

This isn't bad, you could do a lot worse, but it has that 1995 CD-ROM feel to it. Web design is just graphic design - you need some kick-ass design to it.

These are extreme, but check them out: http://www.vir2l.com http://www.greyscale.net http://www.threeoh.com/structure.html http://www.elixirstudio.com/

Thanks everybody for the comments
Steve => I'll tell the person who's written the english copy that it's not a good work
Plant42 => euhm... websites you show me are very cool and I like this style very much but in this project I wanted to refer at video games and if it looks like cd-rom it's great because it was my purpose! Moreover I can't do a graphic experimental site where people are lost and have troubles to find informations => my client wouldn't be very happy! I know that today websites must be done in flash with a "technological" aspect to be cool but some times it doesn't square with the project! So.. instead of showing me other type of websites (that I know for most of them) I'd rather you tell me what's going wrong in my picture

Nice enough design, have you read the tutorials at http://eyeball-design.com its in a very similar style, will that monitor in the corner do anything ? If not make it so that it does

Perhaps this is not what your looking for, but I'll give it to you anyway.

This is an area I'm a little closer to judging due to my recent hiring as webmaster and designer of (I'll start plugging the site when it launches ). So, here I go

First of all, I personally don't like your eye-ball design website you sighted, however I do like your image you posted. I should probably mention I'm currently doing a bussiness website that needs to look professional; not a goofy art progect.

Functionality should always come first. With the eyeball, I had to chase those damn balls and try and read what they were; I mean, how bad does it get? The site should have a plain and simple good looking design, but easy to navigate and use, or what the hell are you designing a site for? Your example looks like it'll work fine, but I generally site the gamespy sites for examples of good looks and functionality; People who do art for a living forget that we have to use and live in this (however goodlooking) world.

Anyway, my 2 cents. in approximetly 2 months I'll be able to start posting the site I'm working on, has many technical innovations for businesses. And yes I use a spellchecker for all my websites (damn, I really can't spell can I? )

hey, your design is cool. I like how it combines looks and simplicity.
<Duran- eyeball design isnt her site, and if you look around it is is very cool.

Yes, I noticed it gets better as it goes in. Anyway, is not what I'd reccomend as an example for any kind of usable website (several different "interfaces", horrible front page, etc.)

Some of the tutorials are pretty good though, gotta give you that (once I caught one of the balls )
