I know what you mean, but...
This is for people who are "REALLY devoted". I for one have this forum bookmarked and check it about 3 times an hour...

I usually don't miss anything. If you don't want to read what other people's ranting, well that's what tutorials are for. If you are looking for a place to view artwork: that's called a gallery.

BTW, I don't think there are 100 new threads every day. WHen threads are responded to, they pop to the top of the forum, so if you only drop by once or twice, it might seem like there are a lot of posts.

how about instead of listing threads by most recent, they list threads by date? just a suggestion

and no, i wasn't looking for a gallery, i was looking for a section where people can post images, and post comments to images posted

Yeah, I'd say that I pretty much sit here and wait for the forum to refresh. I mean, I don't even play UT anymore

...

The idea with many boards is great, and it would cut down on the mess, but there is a problem. I think it would make the forum less natural, there wouldn't be as much interaction between different types of people.

I love the forum. I agree about being dedicated though...I tend to drift in and out of here...and it's like a new experience each time.

I dont really see the point in starting threads like this when you -know- there are atleast 5 of the same thing in the past month.

Whoever said it had a good idea...instead of all of the smileys and various icons to represent a post type....how about icons for what program or if it's traditional..or whatever

Anyone notice there are just too many posts in this forum? There's like 100 different threads started every day. I don't have the time to read them all, and for the most part, I don't want to read them all. A split would really be useful, I know most of us just want to go into one place where everything can be found, well I'm not that sort of person. Maybe I want just a photoshop forum, or a painter forum, or a post these recent pics forums.

Anyway, blah blah..
