I just need a little help. Since my drawing skills aren't quite as good, was wondering if someone would be willing to draw a pencil sketch of a boy that fits these specifications. This sketch will be used for homework.
A boy 12-14 years old (full figure)
Half naked. Only wearing ragged shorts held up by a belt.
Black coarse shaggy hair covering part of forehead. Pointy chin, bright and shiny eyes. Happy look to face.
Any help would be appreciated! Much thanks. |

Nah. It isn't for an art class or something. Just for this poster we have to do and I want it to look good. Still building on my current drawing skill, but aint nowhere near compared to everyone else in this form. ![](http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/ubb/smile.gif) |

Go then and start practising.
That'll be the best way to finish your homework in time. *g* |

Shouldn't Dhabi add a new feature to his site - "Online Artwork Order/Auction"? |

Hrmm. Don't think my last post posted.
Anyway, I'd just like to say thanks to exo. *shrug.* Our world's so self centered these days with only a few select people who actually have the heart to help others without looking for benefits/money. I commend those select few. I know some are you are out there swearing and ranting about making a living on your art. Sure; but if you're doing art for just money, you should look for a new occupation. ARt should be done because it's fun and indeed a way of expressing emotions. Just keep that in mind and I hope it influences all of you to help others and throw out positive comments. Great example of someone who helps others: Mother Teresa. And, hey, it HAS gained her fame and... well maybe not fortune. But, there's no point in being rich if your disliked. Remember the power of words is unfathomable. Much thanks to exo again. |

Heh. Think whatever you like. But, let me ask you this, why the hell would I want to do that? And second, I would have asked of osmething more exquisite instead of a sketch if i wanted to do that. |

... your assuming too much based on words ...
What I didn't tell you was I already did my own sketches and DID work from there on after the first few responses. Then I got exo's sketches and I incorporated some ideas into mines. Hey, it might not be pretty, but at least I can call it my own work. |

It has nothing to do with money, it has to do with time. Who says any of these people have time to draw something for a stranger. I say, if you need something so bad for homework, simply do it yourself, or it means you don't need it. It's very self gratifying.
And if you want it to come down to money, look at it this way...if I make a logo for someone, and I generally charge $2000, and then do one for someone else for free, it cheapens everything I do, even if the work is the same quality. Its a very common occurance.
Also, in relation to your poster project...I've seen thousands of insanely good posters that were done by incorporating only a 30 second sketch of a figure. It's what you do with the design mostly, not how good the illustration is (for posters anyway). But in retrospect, I think you're better off learning how to draw a boy than take up design for a few years :)

Is it REALLY about time? Most of us have a good 60 years, which we spend a good 10 in front of the TV. Tell me we dont got time again. Its just that some of us are lazy.... I know, I've been there. Still havent started on that damn poster. And no, I really dont need it that bad. You didn't see me pleading up there and begging did you? ... Hehe guess not.
And, about those 2,000 buckaroos on that price tag of the logo and then giving another one away for free... i wouldnt call it cheapening.. i would just call giving the one away for free, promotion of your work Ciao, I'm out to study again. Yay. I still have yet to write a term paper on procrastination due tommorow. I still got 7 hours left. Nothing to fret about. |

Damn EviLToYLeT, you need to stop defending yourself quite so tenaciously, and start practicing your drawing skills. I gotta say, that request post was very lame. How much free time do you think most of us have? Hell, personally I barely have enough time between work to finish my own images. |
