Some of us have to balance the techno-robot-demon-monster-cyborg-hand-cannon stuff posted on the forum! Not that there's anything wrong with it.

New painting of a Waxwing having a dinner, still in-progress, but I think I got the bird's anatomy quite alright.
The older one is the finished version of the dead Waxwing, thanks for the comments on the earlier thread.

Both pics are shrunken down to some 50% so there's detail shots included as well.

Comments, ideas all welcome.

I agree, nature is a very good experience. Look at my painting I did while looking out of my window.

Nice pics. The second one looks like a bird that might have been killed by a "techno-robot-demon-monster-cyborg-hand-cannon" thing.

Nice, I always like to see a deviation from the repetitive: superhero/supermodel routine. I should put up some of my nature/naturmort pieces as well.

Looks very good.

Don't forget the purple lips!

Hot naked chicks with purple lips....

OK, so this is a new thing for me, but I've seen like 4 posts of chicks with purple lips and I like it...

Gecko- Yes I would have to agree. even tho I contribute towards the seething mass of all that stuff . Birds are cool, I used to do a few of them in watercolour. lotsa fun

different things could be said for a certian bunch of poor deprived fellows whom so lovingly contributed to this thread...*Ahem*.....

Rinaldo, I think deprived isn't quite the right word. I prefer depraved.
