I have been enjoying all of your work the past few days, it makes me feel like taking some time off my buisy schedule and drawing some more. This portrait is a few months old, hope you guys likes it. I'm a bit rusty but I can snap back I hope.
Does anyone have some Star Trek art to show??

Took a while to recognize Frakes, no that the image isn't great, the expression is just a bit unusual for him - also he looks somewhat older to me than what he actually is. And with Brent Spiner it's the other way around, he looks younger and a tad thinner than in real life.

But hey, these are just my opinions, which really is far from the truth. Superb job anyhow!

I said about a year .. doesn't mean over a year exactly

Ok, I'll change it, it's one I did several months ago.

How do you guys do this. I mean I can draw a portrait of someone either based on a life model or a photograph but I find it very hard to improvise beyond what I see.

Do you guys use various different reference photograph material to base your work on and then improvise or what. I guess you can't draw a starTrek actor from your mind just after watching the show ???

PS: I like the riker sketch a LOT !!!
