Go to the library. Or if you need stuff in the future short notice you can get yourself one of those cataloges for stock photography. 1000's of photo reference all put into separate catagories.

Books on the human anatomy/skeletal structure are good... should be able to find those easily under the arts section in the library..

two places for reference...one is Tony Stone. www.tonystone.com it is free and has really really good pics but if you take them and copy them you will be sued to pieces...don't! (you got that pierre) : )
but they work very well for inspiration and for detail reference to your own work..
also try this site http://1kai.dokkyomed.ac.jp/mammal/en/mammal.html
both will help
but only use the reference...these images are copyrights of othere companies and you will not get off as lightly as that kid that stole mullins stuff.

I believe National Geographic to be one of the best places for ref. material ever. It has shuch amazing photography that you just can't find on the net, (all together in one place). It is great, really inspiring stuff.

Why, simply go to your local graveyard and "borrow" a few residents. They won't mind.
Or, if that won't work, simply kill your neighbors and skin them. They won't mind either. If they do, just tell them it's for art purposes, and then they'll be okay with it. |
