Spitfires ony my sijun nick. On all other places i go by the nick of ephemerae. Its a really uncommon nick (the goth guy and 1 weird chick are the only other known users) because its illogical : ephemerae is plural for ephemera - who would give him/herself a nick in plural? besides that its also a not-that-well-known word.

Oh well. *sigh* ill have to live with it.

It just bothers me. What if people think the ephemerae from sedative.org and razorart is the same ugly fucker that runs a goth.org site?

Go to www.agent44.com. That's not me. However, I am the Original Agent44. and I tell myself that every morning when I get up. Then I go floss and brush.

Dhabih used the name Chapel when he played Ultima Online... so I hear. I've been using the name since Outlaws the video game came out though.

Waitaminute ! Ephemerae ?!? I've seen this nick before !! Altho I can't exactly pinpoint where... Irc ? some Webchat thingy ? Palace ?... aaarghhh alzeihmer at my age already !
Spitfire I won't be able to sleep before finding out where I have seen that nick before. I don't know if it was you but.. I'm obsessed now

As of having a 'unique' nickname well.. I have picked this one. I've been on the net for 6 or 7 years and stuck to it most of this time. The only thing is that anglophones usually ask how to pronounce it lol and what it means lolol
ahh well at least we have something to talk about..

-"eh-JAY-ree" not "egg-gay-ree"
used to go under the call 'arale' on BBSs

This here is my nickname for LIFE! Not only it's hard to find more than 1 Shizo in the world, but it's [Shizo] :p

Although i did use one more nick when i first played QuakeWorld and it was pretty unique too LOL

I'm pretty sure I was the first "balistic" on the net . . . I've had it since about '91, before the web supported inline images

I dropped the second "l" from it, because the telnet BBS I used to chat on only allowed eight character nicknames.

There are quite a few balistics around nowadays though. Hell, even brianprice.com is registered to some dude in Alaska :/

Egerie, ofcourse, the french way.

Im pretty sure it was me you spotted. Perhaps another art forum? I was also the featured artist in Razorart issue #1 and am now the head of CD reviews - all as "ephemerae". It's also my game nick (delta force 1/3, counterstrike, RS)

I never show up on irc/chat so if you saw it there, it wasnt me

I think I'm going to change my nick because Ragnarok is way too used on the net and everywhere those days.
I read a book about viking's mythology and came with this nick, but I would also like:

Muspellheim or
Yggdrasil

What do you think? This nick is losing it's personality...

Zijun or Zidjun [pronounced zeed-j(e/a)n]
I just made it up a couple months ago and think it's very good. Take it whoever you want hehe. And no it's not related to sijun.. There is a percussions company that the logo of i really like called Zindjin (i think). So Zidjun is cool

Heh... my nick is a pretty obscure Simpsons reference that I've not yet seen used elsewhere. But lots of people know the show, and A.Buttle picked up on it, so you never know.

I don't think anyone has my handle. mantis . too lame for anyone to immitate, or too l33t for anyone to immitate. I first got it after beating metal gear solid, I was and still am obsessed with the character psycho mantis, bought the figure and the whole deal. Besides that, "mantis" itself means from m-w.com a "diviner, prophet; akin to Greek mainesthai to be mad -- more at MANIA" so it fit me well.

i lucked out. there's only one jcterminal.

and it's so satisfying to be able to register my nick as a domain.

(for gaming, i go under Target:Null for Q3: Rocket Arena, Mr. Tangerine Speedo for CS, and DJ Krib Death for TFC.)

Hey Ragnarok, better not use Yggdrasil...I've seen it in a few places in only the last couple months. Wish I could remember where but it's common enough that I know I've seen it more than once.

Spitfire: *hug* Maybe I saw you in a QuakeII game or perhaps on the Asheron's Call Beta testing.
I don't go on other art forums.. not yet at least.
Anyway.... If I come accross an Ephemerae, I'll shout

I was the first Starseed on icq. That's my claim to fame.

This is where I bow.

-mt

PS. I started using the name back when the our lady peace album 'birdman' came out - it's a nice tune from that album, and also a book as I later discovered.
