The background is a photo from WWI. I had previously colored the angel but liked it a lot better in black and white. I know I'm shamelessly avoiding doing my own backgrounds, but hey . . . I guess that is all I can say is . . . hey. Any feed back would be seen in a positive light.

Nice one. I think if the angel of destruction was facing the center it would hold it together a little better. |

Thanks for the courtesy post Jake. And thanks for still laughing at my jokes after all these years. Anyone else, maybe someone who has not seen this picture before, does not go skating with me, does not know where I live, ect. want to say something? |

Or maybe as an exercise try manually relighting the entire scene. That'd be cool. |

I lit the Angel as I was trying to figure out a good use for PS lighting effects in the Filter-Render menu, I liked how it turned out but you are right it is unrealistic and flat. I do need to go and do it manualy and not let a machine do my thinking. Can anyone think of a good time you would want to use those lighting effects? |

Never. Filters like that are bad. |

Filters are THE cardinal sin. Don't ever touch them again. Seriously. |
