That's why I don't live in Canada.

ah yes...that thing called 'exercise.'

i hear it's good for you, once you've recovered you should try it again and see what happens.

boards are for sexuality-wise questionable people.

absinthe: i exersize but when u pull the flips i did (by accident i might add) you feel it the next day.
Impaler: the only reason the hill is open is cause its WINTER. Canada has seasons to!
Faust: you always have a screwed mind so i dont take u seriously anymore.
Anyway. i like snowboarding it was my second time and it was fun

nah i'm sure you do exercise...you just can't jump out and do something full-body like that and not be feeling it later, unless you do it daily.

however, considering the classic 'i live at my desk and eat only flat/packaged foods' computer geek, exercise is an alien concept.

i think snowboarding is cool. i also think if i tried it i'd break myself. but i enjoy watching.

i've been snowboarding 2 or 3 times (strange thing to forget) now. i really hurt my ass the first time and much less the second time. if there was a third time it must have been ok because i dont recall the event. i think i'm just going to stick with skiing 'n looking like a dork.

brue: i have more posts than you have, therefore i'm right when i say snowboards are for the fucked and the otherwise lacking.

skis are the only way to go. watch me gather the looks with my skills as you're still trying to get up 'cause of getting stuck in your 10 gallon pants.

or at least ~2 years ago maybe. i'd propably die if i even saw a mountain now.

"If it was easy, it would be called snowboarding." --taken from a K2 telemarking t-shirt that a friend of mine endlessly taunts me with

Nevertheless I've snowboarded for 6 years now and skied for 12 years before that and would have to agree with Brue - snowboarding over skiing - far easier to learn.

The whole skier vs snowboarding debate is really annoying because most of the people who rip on snowboarders have never even tried it and don't know what they're talking about.

I've been skiing since I was 8. I tried snowboarding last year for a day. (8 hour pass) I was sore for the next week! I needed to sit on a damn pillow, it hurt so bad.

Let this be a lesson to you, don't put a fat man on a snowboard. Although, they do good at skiing.

I love snow boarding. i tried it last year with a couple of my friends and it was a blast. i fell a few time but that didn't stop me. i skied for a few years before my boarding experience... i have to agree with brue, boarding rules over skies.
