First of all....if someone here did that...I'm just loving this forum more and more each day! The talent is unbelievable!
Secondly...call me dumb but I've never heard of Battle Chasers, and from the looks of it, well, it looks awesome! Can you get it at a Barnes and Noble? please....educate me

That is pretty damn funny Liquid!. I thought the cover was bad, and this is just one page. (Good thing you have about a year to do the books though...doh!)
By the way, that is an offical Joe Madureira drawing. It wasn't done by anyone here.. unless he is in disguise.

Adam Warren isn't the artist. He just did an alternative cover for one of the issues. Joe MaD! created and draws it. http://www.joemadureira.com |

ah...I see. Thanks
Jenn: Auckland sure is nice! I went there for a about two weeks and stayed at a Maori village. I can't explain the feeling of being shown the southern cross, and all the constellations under no influence of artificial light...by a ten year old!!! ...the sky looked like you were sitting in space.
Do you know anyone working on The Lord of the Rings?

Darkmoon: I just got finished bagging all the comics I bought to use for reference material. I just used up a brand new bag of comic bags. I feel your pain.
By the way, if Liquid! is still reading this post the latest issue of SoulSaga (#4) is probably the best written one so far. Nice to see it improving. Plus, I like that it was a little more serious than the previous issues. |

I almost had an aneurysm when I saw the inked version of this and Kudos to the colorer that doesn't. See you next year! Is there a blueline/sketched version of this available to post? I'd love to see the composition. thought process and pencil strokes that went into this...
Cheers! |

i didnt wanna put it up its kinda big also
the pencils r like the same as the inks
btw i dont think mad! uses blue pencil for his comics, he says he uses 2h n 3h depending on the paper he is using |

I imagine he uses 3h for the sketching and 2h for the rendering. By the time, you render with the 2h the 3h lines fade away. Least that is how some of the pencilers I know do it. |

Thank you much burnOut!
I'm an old school, pencil-kind-of-guy and that sketch has certainly brought on the next onslaught of strokes. I may make an attempt (albiet weak) at coloring with my Prismas...
...and yes, I would see you next year.
Thanks again!
...and to you Liquid! If you will be coloring this and to anyone else that makes the attempt, I will bow as I send flowers...
Cheers again!
