Greetings,
I've been lurking around these boards for about 3 months now and I thought I would introduce myself.
I don't do much drawing, It's been a couple of years since I picked a pencil up. My wife gave me a Graphire as a kind of incentive to get back into the habit (I spend way too much time on computers).
I live in Hull, Quebec (across the river from Ottawa) in Canada and I do a little drawing once in a while. I also enjoy a little writing (just finished two chapters on a comic book), Manga/Anime, Movies, Music and other stuff I don't want to bore you with.
Anyway, as I said, I just finished two chapters of a comic book I'm working on. I decided to try to "scribble up" some ideas of what the characters will look like (It's more than likely I'll get someone else to do the illustration). Here is one painting that's still in progress -- the reference is also included in the painting.
Cheers

Cool... I just moved to this region myselfdon't know the area that well.
I am planning on attending Algonquin college however to get my skills caught up (jump in on the whole Flash thing among other stuff).
Cheers,

Update: I refined it little more, and started working on the face, added a hand (and fixed the left sleeve). I find it a little difficult to produce a reasonable looking 5 o'clock shadow (not shown 'cause it sucked).
Cheers,
