I have used Pantone markers a lot, during graphics design school.
I think they are very nice to work with and blend well. I have mostly used the cool/warm gray varieties, they are good.
I don't really have any specific good/bad points, except to be sure that you draw on bleedproof marker paper or something similar. They are pretty expensive, but very good for correct colour reproduction, (when comparing with printed Pantone output), but this isn't important when doing concept art! I assume that this is what you want?
I don't know how they compare to Prismacolor markers... perhaps someone else can enlighten you on that!
