That dude has some huge feet, and how are his pants staying on? A cool character tho, maybe he should have some distinguishing mark on him like a tattoo or a scar or something

Looks great. I would study the elbow connections in your arms a bit more... They pinch in a sort of weird way. Same with his right arm shoulder connection. Outside of that the hands are pretty cool, and I actually like big feet..
As far as a bg goes... hmmm, buddha temple with incense burning? I would generally recommend that you try to think of the picture as a whole. Not as (a) character and (b) background. When you think of them as separate items you end up with the problem of backgrounds that you have to 'paste'. Just some food for thought... damn do I ramble...
Hope that is useful... I'm sure FRED FLICK could offer more insight on anatomy and form that I ever could.

only thing i noticed is the right arm is waaay to long. it's bent and the hand falls at the same place as the left. Other then that looks coolio.
i was thinkin a blurred out background. Maybe stone floor leading up to a temple, blue sky, all real blurry and out of focus. Maybe a some steps or a bridge. Dunno. I'm all for the out of focus look, i'm lazy

thx peepz
liquid! : i like big feet to, to me it makes em more powerfull/ more weight to them... n i just like the style heh. Ill work on the elbow some more, mabye Fred could work out a quick sketch of how the elbow/arms would be placed better ehh how bout it fred ??
capn: the hands dont dont fall at the sameplace really, the tip of the fingers are about where the other hands nuckles start, i dunno if the arm is to long tho.
fred can i get a quick layout of his arms? only if u have time of course ! thx
