I *had* to do at least one Gladiator pic darnit

I tried out something new in photoshop... I did the whole thing with the eraser tool. Kinda interesting effect. New for me anyway

G'damn I love all your stuff mayan... I have a whole directory of your images lol!

Thats a neat technique, alot different than the stuff you ussualy do. I like it tho. If you did this style and then after, touched it up with lots of details and render it up with the paintbrush Im sure it would be a Kick ass semi-photorealistic painting. I'd love to see your hand at some photorealistic work, cuz your other work is AMAZING!

one thing i did notice that might benefit slightly is the guys pose on the far left. He's great how he is no doubt, but his pose seems a little weak, not very menacing considering there are three guys against one in the ring. Maybe place his legs slightly farther apart and give him more of a dramatic stance would help! anyways! thats my two cents!

PEAAACE!

Hey thanks.. glad you like my stuff

I was also worried a little bit about the pose but I was just trying to make good time on the painting I'm still trying to work on proper form, light, shadow and composition before I start doing some photorealistic stuff.. soon perhaps though.

I'm more of a comic book artist than a portrait painter.. but like I said I'm trying to expand.
