welps i asked this question before and got answers but none saying what i wanted so i'll ask here so i dont get flamed asking another wacom question
basically if any of u guys have used ps2rate u will know what i mean, u guys will know that when set to like 40khz it's really choppy compared to 200khz, similarily i find the cursor responsiveness/speed/fluidity/rate to be really crappy and i was wondering if there is anyway to fix it? ive heard that the usb version is the same but that seems doubtful cuz my usb mouse is very smooth indeed. it's so bad at this point that i would sell my serial intuous and get a usb intuous! (even though i have an extra artzII 6x8 )
sure wish someone knew the answer
(btw is it any better on macs?)

I think you can't use the graphire pen on the arts... Something like they are using different ways of sending data... The old ones was "analog" while the new ones are "digital"...something like that...
I think they have some PDF-files on that on their homepage.. |

chumps.. if I understand correctly, you've adjusted your ps2 rate to a higher rate, right? I know a lot of online gamers that do this, I've even done it myself. The thing is, not many of em use tablets, your tablet may not like the hacked rate settings you're running.. try switching things back to the default and see if that helps your tablet out a bit. |

hey...you cant use an intuos on a artZII or a graphire pen on anything else. i have all three in the house at the moment, and they are not interchangeable. differetn design and all. graphire has 512 levels of sensetivity...intuos has 1024. i tihnk the artz has 512. i dunno. i am getting to tech. the bottom line is the only tablet that will let you you interchange and auto detect pens and thier settings are the intuos line. okay. are you sick of me talking yet? |

striker> nah my tablet(s) have always been like this, and i'm guess all serial tablets are this way (dunno about usb ones cuz i dont have one). my question was if there was anyway to IMPROVE the existing performance for the tablets .
I'm beginning to think it's a lost cause but ah well, gotta have hope!
