Has anyone noticed that when you are on napster and you are downloading a song the person you are getting it from always waits until 50% of the song is done and then cuts you off, and then IMs you and start swearing at you for trying to download their song.
IF THEY DONT WANT PEOPLE TO DOWNLOAD THEIR SONGS THEN WHY DID THEY PUT THEM UP FOR DOWNLOAD!!?!?!?!

I will screw all of their mammas simoultaneously!!!!

i get tons of download attempts on icq. 95% of them time out, and i just cancel the rest.

then when i find the stuff i'm looking for it's a modem user that claims to have a t1 or whatever. ticks me off when i have the bandwidth and lighten up upon spotting the stuff i want and it takes 2 hours to download.

Why don't you sort the song results by ping then?

i never get IMs about it. they just cut me off. but napster will be a distant memory soon. im not paying for it.

oh well, the frustration that napster gives me is easily compensated by the fact that out of the ~200 or so download attempts people try on me, ~180 fail and the rest are over in a minute or so. (i laugh at modem users. and cable users.)

though napster is of satan. even with bandwidth it's faster to go out and buy the stuff. provided i can find it in this god damned backwater hickswille woods city.

I have sorted the results by ping and i still get cut off. Im starting to think that everyone with Cypress Hill are just bastards, Ive been cut off again, this time they didnt even let it get to 5%. Oh Christ im just gonna buy the damn cd.

If so THATS what I call ironic-

currently it seems that Napster is on a "high" because I find even rare stuff (planet X, Liquid Tension Experiment, T.M. Stevens) surprisingly often.

download from DSL or higher users, one at a time. hm. i'm on a 56k, and don't download all that much. that's what LAN parties are for. i quickly acquired 300MB from two parties ago. that was fun. you can sometimes tell if they're nice people and will let you download from their screenames.

Some guy IMed me last night and said he was going to download one on my songs and asked me not to cut him off because he really wanted this song. I said he could have the song, but my modem died on me as he was getting the song and it cut him off. I bet you he hates me now.....
