Hey that looks cool. I like the way the whole thing works. One suggestion to really make the image look better would be to blur or clour over the pencil strokes in the dudes pants.
How exactly did you create the background? I've had a little play and went:
1) Clouds
2) Motion Blur
3) Airbrush on overaly to try to remove the small 'splotches' the clouds created.
Doesn't come out as nice as yours though.

Actually it is a lot more simple. All I did was render the clouds then used a motion blur, until it looked right. The whole process took about three minutes. Someday I hope to get good enough to "draw" the backgrounds but untill then there is PhotoShop |
