I checked out your site. You have a great style, I especially like this image..
I'd love to see you incorporate some kind of background into it.
Look foward to seeing more of your work. |

Well, for starters it is a pretty bad scan. I wish people would rip off some of my work. Then I'd feel a little more special. |

Okay, here's the situation: Katana and Agent 44 are two seperate people who have the same webpage (see diagram)
I draw my own pictures and he draws his. On some occasions he'll color some of my drawings and put a cool background by liquid! behind it, but most of the time he'll draw and color his own. This webpage below is one that I just put up. It has all original Agent 44 artwork.

Katana: I like the motorball picture. It does need a better scan though. cool character design. |

Nice! I've seen that moon before..from Battle Chasers..
By the way, props to Liquid, I've been following your work for a long time, it's really great stuff! Battle Chasers is even getting published here in Norway now! In fact, that's how I remembered that background with the moon... Pretty cool stuff, you and JoeMad make a great team! Inker's not bad either, heh..
Katana, even though someone else posted this image from your website for you, remember to give proper credits if you post stuff featuring other people's art. It's important. Good thing agent44 made that clear in his previous post.
Besides that, nice characters stuff going on there. Stylish and dynamic. Keep up the good work!

eh..if you placed a background made by Liquid, maybe it's wise to ask him/them first? Or maybe you did, or gave him credits. I dunno.

I'm starting to think I got off on the wrong foot here. First I fully give credit and kudos to Liquid for the background of the picture that was unfortunately posted. I also apologies for the usage. This is somewhat of an older picture (around 1998) which I did while I was taking a PhotoShop class and experimenting with what it could do. I took a character design that Agent_44 did for a project we were working on, colored it, did some effects, then threw in a background I scanned from a then recently purchased Battle Chasers, never thinking that this picture would go beyond my circle of friends. I did this picture to sharpen my skills not exhibit them. It should not have been put on the Craab web site, and will be removed in the next 24 hours. My apologies to all those that have been offended. My originally posted picture was 100% original, and all of the work (Including scanning) was done by me. I wish to be a strong advocate of artistic integrity and giving credit where it is due. That is why I feel embarrassed. Again I say, Gomenasai. |

'Special' isn't really the word I would generally use...

Thanks for the kind words! NORWAY?! In 'Norwegian'? That's pretty damn cool! I'll have to talk to Joe about that!!

No Problem. Giving credit is usually the best way to go, but be careful, all art is inherently protected under copyright laws, thus it isn't free to use. (Hope 'Gomenasay' doesn't mean 'go to hell'?! )

Gomenasai is Japanese for "sorry." As good as my word I replaced the background, but I didn't have time to draw a new one so I just grabbed one. I'm not really sure who did this background but it has a cool Van Goh-esque feeling to it.

I was just trying to be 'funny'...
Why don't you just put a straight gradient behind the image. I really think that it wouldn't need more than that. The coloring on the figure is simple, so why fight that with a super rendered/busy background? Just seems to fight with the figure...

Yeah, well, if he has to fall, it might as well be into a Starry Night, right? Right. And you're right, the background is very Van Goghish. And for VERY good reason.
By the way, katana, I couldn't tell if you were joking or not, so I'll assume you were. And if you weren't, I fear for your soul.
