Wow, that painting is great, i made it my desktop bg.. The composition is great and makes you think about what life would be like after something like a nuclear war..

I was wondering if you could find a larger scan of that picutre? its a bit small on my 1152x864 desktop.. thanks

Nuclear winter.. a lot of dust in the sky, it's always overcast, very dark (even at noon), and thus damn cold. So all water is frozen, trees are dead (not enough light nor warmth), the land is frozen solid (Siberia!) and it's generally like living under a giant black pillow.

mmmm...real art.

I was looking at that painting last night...its amazing how he got those little bitty monks to stand out in that big world. He was a great composer.

Quietly beautiful, in a horrific way.
