The Matrix skips like a broken record when I try to watch it on my PC. (The disk runs fine in our 2 other DVD players)
I use the Compaq DVD sofware that came with the PC. Would useing different sofware help? If so than please tell me were I can find it so I can steal......I mean legaly pay for.

What kind of system are you running? I generally dislike running off software, a decoder card helps it greatly, I ran my DVD player on my brothers 200 pentium when I was at home with the card and had no skips, whereas I've seen people attempt to watch DVDs on K6-3 450's and seen it skip like a spastic chimp had ahole of the dvd player and shook it.
