why doesn't the face resemble the body or look good anyway? Do the legs look strange?
Anyway:
Thanks in advance for your time, Jan |

The upper body is very distorted above the shoulders. Check the right shoulder, too low!
(check the collar bones too)
Also the hands are too small... and the way the right hand bends around her hip looks strange!
Actually the legs are the best part

Your main problem is that you don;t have any underlying structure to your image: you didn't 'built' your character. This is why you have these problems with proportions, and those distortions. That's too bad because your drawing is pretty good but without an understnading of this basic underlying structure there is so much you can do. I would recommend checking 'Constructive Anatomy' by George Brant Bridgman. Those books are pretty cherap and easy to obtain online.
, or a Burne Hoggarth book.

Much better! Her upper body is much rounder and more 'feminine'. I think her right shoulder looks a little strange. You gonna work on the shading?

Looks like her arm is disloacted in the second drawing.
Nipples?
The first drawing looks like Anthony Keidis. Of Red Hot Chili Peppers fame? You know, the guy that everyone knows but that isn't Flea?

now that u mention it, her mouth looks a little off center... the collar bone is a bit low down on the left side, it seems to be connected to the bottom of her shoulder...
but i really like the shading, and someone drew a woman with a realistic sized chest! woot! |
